Tony Khan explains his decision to acquire a Frank Sinatra track for Chris Jericho‘s entrance at Ring of Honor Final Battle.
All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan participated in the Final Battle Media Scrum. When asked about acquiring the rights for Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” for Chris Jericho, Khan said he thought it would be appropriate given the circumstances.
“Well for the King of New York, I thought it would be very appropriate,” Tony Khan said. “Chris Jericho, the neuve, is the King of New York, so what better way for him to come to the ring for his championship match than New York, New York?
“I thought it would be something special and it came out great. It was a great part of the presentation. Since we all woke up in a city that never sleeps, we wanted to play that song. And it was a great moment and something special for Final Battle.”
