It would seem that the Saudi Pro League will stop at nothing to get in the players they want in order to grow their product, with one Tottenham ace now in the cross hairs of Al Ittihad.
Currently fifth in the table, Al Ittihad are still a mammoth 22 points behind leaders Al Hilal, despite having the likes of Karim Benzema in their ranks.
Despite a quiet period during the January transfer window, there’s a strong likelihood that the Saudis will come and cherry pick some of European football’s top talents this summer.
One of those could well be Tottenham’s captain, Son Heung-min.
According to Football Transfers, the outlet want to pair the 31-year-old with Mo Salah in a new-look attack, and one which will see Benzema depart the club.
Son Heung-MinFormer Spurs ace, Harry Kane, had nothing but praise to shower on his former strike partner whilst he was still plying his trade at White Hart Lane.
“He’s an unbelievable player,” the now Bayern Munich hit-man was quoted as saying back in 2023 by football.london.
“[…] He just brings a good energy around the training ground, even when things aren’t going so well, you can count on him to get everyone going.
“On the pitch, the way he presses, the way he runs with the ball, he’s such an exciting player.”

Though it’s entirely possible that Ange Postecoglou would be loathe to lose one of the players that makes his team tick, it is worth considering that Son only has a year left on his current deal and is getting no younger.
A move could therefore make sense for all parties.
