Tottenham: person stabbed to death near stadium

While Tottenham must face Nottingham Forest this Sunday (7 p.m.), the London club published a press release after the attack on a person near its stadium. Authorities say London police were alerted to a disturbance near Tottenham Stadium after a man was stabbed to death. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man in his thirties unfortunately died on the spot.

“Following an incident in which someone lost their life, we are doing everything we can to facilitate the ongoing police investigation, which is of the utmost importancesaid the club. As things stand, this afternoon's Premier League match against Nottingham Forest will go ahead as planned, but the north end of Worcester Avenue and the whole of Northumberland Park Road will remain closed for the duration of the match . We ask spectators to be patient and allow extra travel time.”.
