Lana Del Rey and Quavo are “Tough” together! The udo debuted their highly anticipated collaboration on Wednesday (July 3). The accompanying video was directed by Wyatt Spain Winfrey, and is described as a “mesmerizing fusion that allows both superstars to fearlessly explore each other’s musical realms, showcasing their indomitable spirit.” Keep reading to find out more… The clip is set in a rural setting, and finds Quavo and Lana as companions, with Quavo holding his shotgun while Lana carries her guitar, meant to symbolize “their unwavering strength despite their contrasting origins,” via the release. “Tough like the scuff on a pair of old leather boots/Like the blue-collar, red-dirt attitude/Like a .38 made out of brass/Tough like the stuff on your grandpa’s glass,” Lana sings.
