Toulouse humiliated by one of its players! The statement that provokes a reaction

A player currently on loan from Toulouse abroad has not been kind to Téfécé.

This is rare enough to be underlined: a footballer has not been very corporatist towards his employer. Veljko Birmancevic currently belongs to Toulouse, but this 25-year-old striker was loaned by Téfécé to Sparta Prague for this 2023-24 season.

And the least we can say is that Birmancevic does not have much recognition for the Toulouse club, as he demonstrated in an interview with the Czech site iSport.

It’s not at all a step backwards to have joined Sparta Prague, thundered the striker. It’s a much bigger club than Toulouse. We have better conditions, every match is sold out. We are now playing for qualification for the Champions League. I’m happy to be here. It helped me – even in football – that the mentality of the Czechs and the Serbs is close. It was easier to adapt”.

A statement which did not go unnoticed in the community of Toulouse supporters, who underline the winger’s ingratitude towards Téfécé.
