The summer transfer window has not yet opened its doors but all European clubs are already entering the transfer market. This is the case for Paris Saint-Germain.

The capital club will be active this summer in terms of departures but especially arrivals where the Parisian leaders intend to strengthen their squad. And this in all sectors of play.

This Wednesday, an astonishing transfer rumor appeared in recent hours and has gained more and more momentum.

Indeed, according to information from the Russian media Championship, Krasnodar goalkeeper Matvey Safonov would be very close to joining the red and blue squad. The Russian goalkeeper would have said yes to the Parisian club.

A transfer estimated at 20 million euros

This is surprising information but it gains momentum as the hours go by. Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly close to completing the arrival of Russian goalkeeper from Krasnodar Matvey Safonov. The 25-year-old goalkeeper who is under contract until June 2029 with his club is estimated at 20 million euros according to the Russian media.

A fairly large sum which could call into question the status of Gigio Donnarumma. Indeed, although he is well on his way to extending his contract, the Italian goalkeeper would still not be unanimous despite his good season.

According to information from the Twitter account (X) Sports Zone, Luis Enrique would not be a fan of the Italian’s profile and would like the recruitment of a new goalkeeper who has certain recovery qualities. The possible arrival of the Russian could reshuffle the cards in the Parisian cage. To be continued…
