Tracy Letts And Moses Ingram Latest To Join Kathryn Bigelow’s Next Movie At Netflix

EXCLUSIVE: Tracy Letts and Moses Ingram have joined the ensemble cast of for Kathryn Bigelow‘s next film at Netflix. The untitled thriller also stars Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Jared Harris, Greta Lee and Gabriel Basso. Bigelow will direct. Netflix had no comment on the casting.

Netflix had no comment.

The film’s title and plot remain under wraps, though sources have told Deadline that it will be set at the White House as a national crisis unfolds. The project marks Bigelow’s first feature since the 2017 thriller Detroit, an awards contender produced and distributed by Annapurna Pictures.

Letts is coming off his Emmy-nominated performance in the HBO series Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty where he played coach Coach Jack McKinney. He can be seen next in the Peacock series Mr. Throwback starring Stephen Curry. That series bows on Aug. 8.

He was also recently seen in the psychological thriller McVeigh opposite Alfie Allen and Ashley Benson which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. Next up, he can be seen in Sterlin Harjo’s FX pilot The Sensitive Kind that was filmed earlier this year, opposite Ethan Hawke and Jeanne Tripplehorn.

Ingram’s breakout role came as Lady Macduff in the Apple and A24 Oscar-nominated pic The Tragedy of Macbeth, opposite Denzel Washington. She followed that up with the Lucasfilm limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi, where starred opposite Ewan McGregor.

She can currently be seen in Apple TV+ limited series Lady in th Lake opposite Natalie Portman.

Next up, Ingram will star alongside Tilda Swinton, Michael Shannon and George MacKay in Neon’s The End, a musical by Academy Award-nominated director Joshua Oppenheimer. The film will hit the festival circuit this fall.
