EXCLUSIVE: The boss of U.S. marketing giant Trailer Park Group is stepping down after two stints running the company over the past 16 years.

Rick Eiserman is exiting and will be replaced by former Activision Blizzard Chief Marketing Officer David Messinger temporarily, who has been elected Chairman and Interim Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect by the board.

Eiserman led Trailer Park Group from 2008 to 2015 and again from 2019, overseeing huge campaigns for the likes of Stranger Things and Marvel’s Avengers along with the acquisitions of London’s MXW, Mumbai’s White Turtle Studios and LA-based Dark Burn Creative.

Messinger is a former CMO at Activision, which was recently bought by Microsoft, and has previously worked for CAA, Disney and the Leo Burnett Company.

Eiserman said Messinger’s “experience and connections, combined with an outstanding track record building brands, serving clients, and integrating innovation with creativity, makes him ideal to advance Trailer Park Group’s next phase of growth and evolution.”

Messinger said he had “long admired” the group’s “ability to engage and excite audiences about the world’s most celebrated and anticipated entertainment and sports properties.”

Trailer Park Group was acquired by Erie Street Growth Partners and Origami Capital Partners in August 2021.
