Travis Kelce explains why he had ‘mixed feelings’ at PDA-filled Yankee game with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce’s emotions were running high during his PDA-packed date with Taylor Swift at the New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Guardians game in the Bronx earlier this week.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, reflected on attending Game 1 of the American League Championship Series with his girlfriend as someone rooting for the Cleveland Guardians in Wednesday’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast.

“It was mixed feelings because I was there trying to have some fun with Tay and everybody, all our friends… came, we had an unbelievable crew with us and hanging with us, it was fun,” Travis told his brother Jason Kelce.

But the Ohio native admitted that it was tough to watch since the Guardians lost against the Yankees, 5 – 2.

“Even though the Guards couldn’t pull it off, it was still an exciting game,” Travis said. “It was cool to see Yankee Stadium because I always wanted to see that thing in person, in a playoff game, in a hostile environment and it didn’t disappoint, man.”

He added, “The Yankees, the fans, the players, everybody involved man, it was awesome.”

The football player said that he was in “hostile territory” rooting for the away team.

“I’m in hostile territory cause it’s the Bronx Bombers and I’m at Yankee Stadium and the playoffs, and I’m over here cheering for the Guards cause I’m a Cleveland kid and I want to see Cleveland win a f–king World Series,” he admitted.

Travis and Swift, 34, rocked up to Yankee Stadium on Monday night looking casual and low-key.

The couple embraced in some hot and heavy PDA while seated in a VIP box and at one point, Swift was spotted sweetly feeding Travis some popcorn.

The “Bejeweled” singer rocked a brown sweater and black mini skirt layered under an oversized blazer and kept it low-key in a black baseball cap. The athlete also covered up in a Midnight Rodeo hat and wore a bomber jacket over a white T-shirt.

The lovebirds were seen looking smitten all over New York City this weekend.

On Saturday night, the Grammy-winning artist and Travis had a romantic dinner at Major Food Group’s Italian joint, Torrisi.

The duo entered the restaurant holding hands and were seen leaving looking as if they had just been making out.

The previous night, Travis and Swift dined at The Corner Store in Soho with close friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
