Travis Kelce was seen wiping away tears as his older brother, Jason Kelce, announced his retirement on Monday.

The Kansas City Chiefs star, 34, was visibly emotional while seated in the front row next to his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, as well as his sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, as Jason announced the end of his 13-year NFL career.

Travis seemingly knew it was going to be an emotional day as he concealed his face with a pair of dark sunglasses.

However, at one point, the tight end was photographed holding a tissue up to his face to blot the tears that streamed down his face.

Despite the emotion, Travis never took his eyes off his older brother as Jason reflected on their childhood and everything that led him to that moment.

Like his younger brother, the legendary Philadelphia Eagles center, 36, got choked up the second he sat down at the podium, taking a minute to compose himself before reading off his pre-written speech.

Tearfully, Jason reflected on his love for football and the city of Philadelphia, as well as the impact of playing in the NFL alongside Travis.

“It was really my brother and I our whole lives. We did almost everything together — competed, fought, laughed, cried and learned from each other,” Jason said.

“We invented games, imagine ourselves as star players of that time. We envisioned making winning plays day after day. We won countless Super Bowls in our minds before ever leaving the house. And when we weren’t playing we were at the other one’s games.”

While Travis donned a color-blocked button-up for the press conference, Jason — in typical fashion — was casually dressed in a black, cut-off shirt.

Ahead of the press conference, Travis joined his older brother at a fundraiser in Philadelphia to raise money for cancer survivors in honor of a young man named Brendan McDermott, who recently passed away after losing his battle to colorectal cancer.

Jason was the Eagles’ sixth-round pick in the 2011 draft and went on to become one of the best centers of all time, winning the Super Bowl in 2018 and being selected for the NFL Pro Bowl seven times during his impressive career.

NFL fans — and Taylor Swift fans, alike — began speculating that Jason would be hanging up the cleats back in January after the Eagles lost in the playoffs to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Ahead of the game, Jason reportedly told his teammates that it was likely going to be his last time playing beside them.
