The Rasslin’ Twitter account responded by saying that nothing could stop wrestling, and they looked forward to the show. Trevor Lee then replied by sharing a picture of himself in front of a car. He wrote, “I could probably make it by doors.”
Lee is from Cameron, North Carolina, so he isn’t far from the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem.
Whether Lee appears or not, WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on Wednesday.
Trevor Lee’s Future
Trevor Lee’s days as Cameron Grimes ended when WWE released him in April. Now that his 90-day non-compete clause is up, he has returned to the independent scene. However, he is hopeful that he will make it back to television wrestling. He has even expressed his interest in AEW. During a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, he said that he was interested in AEW and every other company.
“I have interest in absolutely every company,” Trevor Lee said. “But, I do have interest in AEW. Why wouldn’t I? It’s doing what they’re supposed to do and it’s shocking the culture and it’s stirring up a firestorm that is the new era of wrestling so, of course.”
