Rap artist Sexyy Red made a surprise appearance during last week’s episode of NXT, a move that Trick Williams was super excited to see.
Sexyy Red appeared last week and was a part of a variety of segments, including being in the corner for Trick Williams‘ and Je’Von Evans’ match at the end of the night. Speaking to The Masked Man Show, Williams said it was fun to work with her, and he’s a big fan.
“Get it sexyy. Shake your dreads,” said Williams, referring to his favorite song by the artist. “My favorite song is ‘Shake Yo Dreads,’ for obvious reasons. I’m excited. Hip hop is what I love and am familiar with. To find out Sexyy Red is interested and wanted to come support the champion at NXT, I’m always down for that. It was a great experience.”
Williams went on to say it was fun meeting the star, and that she already knew who he was when they met, due to her being such a big wrestling fan.
“It was dope. Meeting Sexyy Red was like meeting one of my cousins, honestly,” Williams said. “She’s a real chick from around the way. When I met her on Tuesday, she’s like, ‘Trick Williams, I know who you are.’ ‘I know who you are too.’ She was game and ready to have a good time. It was natural out there and fun. My entrance, she spiced it up. I wasn’t expecting all that. I told her, ‘Do your thing, we’ll do our thing. We’ll make it look good together. That’s what happened.'”
Sexxy Red is set to act as the host for NXT Battleground this weekend.
