WWE’s years of reputation built from hard work and sacrifice came into question following Vince McMahon’s recent sex trafficking scandal. However, it is being hinted that his son-in-law, Triple H was seemingly aware of Vince’s devilicious antics.
Vince McMahon has been accused by former WWE employee, Janel Grant of sexual misconduct and trafficking to other people for the same. The serious allegations have a major blow to WWE’s image and McMahon’s legacy as a whole, who exited the TKO Group Holdings recently.
While many people are becoming aware of the situation as the headlines came out, new reports indicate that people close to McMahon were already aware.
Dave Meltzer pointed out in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H knew all along about his father-in-law’s misconduct. Moreover, he mentioned that his source was one of the biggest stars of the modern era.
“He’s the f’n cerebral assassin, best politicking dude in history, literally wormed his way from a green, entry level wrestler into a (still, average wrestler) absolute top of the office, executive, you think he doesn’t pay attention to what’s going on around him? Think he did that without knowing every little thing everywhere in that company? Yet somehow this slipped past his radar? The thing about that place is if TKO starts cleaning house, they’re gonna show up with a bucket and some Lysol, then realize that shits in the walls, in the floorboards, they’re gonna have to bring out the sledgehammer (because) that shit is gonna turn into a demolition job. Down to the foundation, sledgehammer pun not intended.”
As per the latest reports, Vince McMahon is under federal investigation by the prosecutors of New York representing Janel Grant in the lawsuit. With the scandal heavily in the public eye, and if proven true, could be disastrous and catastrophic for Vince McMahon.
