Triple H and Shawn Michaels have been the closest acquaintances for more than two decades. From coming up together as a part of D-Generation X to now holding important corporate roles in WWE, both men have come a long way in the company.

Shawn Michaels took over the reins of WWE NXT, the brand his best friend Triple H built brick by brick for the next generation of WWE superstars. On the other hand, The Game sits at the helm of the corporate structure as the WWE Chief Content Officer.

Both WWE Hall of Famers have done remarkable work for taking the company to unprecedented heights and recently they came together again to drop hints for something exciting coming up for WWE NXT.

The Game took to his X to drop pictures with himself and the Heartbreak Kid meeting with the people from the popular television network, The CW, the new home for WWE NXT for the next five years starting in October 2024.

“If you know anything about #DX, you know our relationship with TV networks has come long way… Exciting day with @ShawnMichaels and @TheCW team. #WWENXT is ready to take over. #WeAreNXT.”

NXT has been televised on the USA network for a long time, however, that association would end later this year with the beginning of their CW TV deal, a network that has shown an avid interest in all of pro wrestling. So it would be interesting to see all the action from the black and gold brand become part of an entirely new network soon.

What more could be in store in regards to the new partnership between WWE NXT and The CW network? Do Triple H and Shawn Michaels have more planned in store? Sound off in the comments!
