Triple H took a shot at the “Forbidden Door” during the WWE Royal Rumble post-show press conference.

AEW and NJPW have formed a strong working relationship that has seen the companies share several stars and co-promote the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. The “Forbidden Door” term was often used to describe these collaborations, and it has extended to AEW’s work with other companies as well.

During the WWE Royal Rumble post-show press conference, Triple H commented on TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace’s appearance. He also took a shot at the term “Forbidden Door”.

“Jordynne Grace coming here from TNA, their champion, I want to thank them for allowing her to be here and participate in the Royal Rumble,” Triple H said. “I thought she had a spectacular showing tonight. She’s an amazing talent, and it’s exciting to just be able to branch out.

“I’m not gonna use all the cliched terms about what door people go through, anything like that because it’s stupid and silly. But partnerships and opportunities like this come along for some people once in a lifetime. I’m glad she had that opportunity. It’s well-deserved, she’s an incredible talent.”

During the press conference, Triple H said he wanted to focus on the positives when asked about the lawsuit against Vince McMahon. Check out his comments here.
