The RAW Tag Team Championships were renamed and replaced on the April 15 episode of WWE RAW.
Triple H came to the ring and looked back on the success of WrestleMania 40. He noted that a new era started, and Adam Pearce highlighted how that was true for the tag team division as well. He and Triple H brought out the new RAW Tag Team Champions, The Miz and R-Truth. Triple H congratulated them and noted that the duo made history. He reiterated that it was a new era, and they needed to represent that.
Triple H said that they would be known as the World Tag Team Champions. He went on to unveil new titles, and R-Truth expressed his excitement.
The Miz said that this was their chance to elevate the titles. He then spoke French to R-Truth to help him understand that the titles were theirs after Truth got a little confused. Triple H gave Miz and Truth the titles and shook their hands.
