That’s a lot. We are just over three weeks away from WrestleMania 40 and the show’s top matches are set. However, there are still several spots left to be filled and those can make for some interesting matches. You can probably guess multiple matches that still need to be made official and all we are doing is waiting for the announcements. Multiple such announcements were made this week.

This week’s SmackDown featured three new matches being announced for WrestleMania 40. First up, LA Knight challenged AJ Styles to a match, with Styles jumping Knight from behind and accepting. Next, Jimmy Uso accepted Jey Uso’s challenge for a match, following Jey’s challenge on Monday Night Raw. Finally, Logan Paul asked General Manager Nick Aldis for a challenger for his United States Title. Aldis went on to announce that Randy Orton and Kevin Owens would be challenging Paul in a triple threat. WrestleMania takes place on April 6 and 7 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
It was a busy night. Check out how we got to the matches:
Opinion: That’s how you get a lot set up for WrestleMania in the span of two hours. Most of the card is now set and a good chunk of those were confirmed in a single night. It helps that most of the matches were all but confirmed in the first place but now we have them officially set, which is quite the use of a single show. Now WWE needs to make the matches work when we get to Philadelphia, but at least they are off to a strong start.
