They’re gone. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and as a result, there are only going to be so many places when some more wrestlers come back to the company. You never know when you are going to see someone let go and it could be quite a big deal when someone leaves the company. That was the case again this week, as multiple names were let go from WWE.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re In: Major Title Match Officially Set For WWE Backlash
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful is reporting that WWE has released three wrestlers. This includes Jinder Mahal, Xyon Quinn and Xia Li. Mahal, a former WWE and United States Champion, posted a message to Twitter, saying “I Quit. Maharajah Out.” while changing his Twitter bio to “Free Agent – 90 Days. Mahal’s most recent match took place on April 5 in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Quinn’s most recent match was a six second loss to Bron Breakker on March 1 while Li’s most recent match was earlier this week, when she lost to Natalya on Main Event. It is not clear if there will be any more releases this week.

They had the talent. Check out the three in action:
Opinion: This is something that happens on occasion and while that might not be the best sounding thing, WWE has to let some people go at times. In Quinn’s case, there is only so much of a future when your most recent match was a six second loss. Mahal was by far the biggest star of the three but he has only done so much in a long time. Mahal will probably get a chance to go somewhere else and it wouldn’t shock me to see Quinn and Li get at least a chance, but it isn’t going to be in WWE at the moment.
