2023 was a special year for WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. The former WWE Women’s Champion had a run as a heel. During her run, she wrestled Becky Lynch on a few occasions. One of them was a Steel Cage match at WWE Payback in 2023, which also marked Stratus and Lynch’s first Steel Cage match.

Before their steel cage match at the Premium Live Event, Stratus had an incident with a fan. She yelled at the fan, telling them to ‘Shut the f*ck up.’

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez as part of his Unlikely series, Trish Stratus revealed that she has no recollection of that moment. She was concussed during the match, and does not recall the incident. When she watched it back, Stratus felt like it was a real character moment.

“Afterwards, my team was like, ‘That moment with the fan is going viral.’ ‘What moment?’ ‘Before you went in, when you talked to the fan.’ ‘I have zero recollection of that.’ I was concussed. I don’t think anybody knows that, but I was concussed after that cage match. I didn’t remember anything, anyway. Later on, I watched it back. If you know me, I’m sassy, for sure, but I was like, ‘Oh, did I do that?’ I’m very camera-aware and PC. I was 100% in character. That was a real character moment. I was in,” Trish Stratus said.
