Leaving Bayern at the end of the current financial year, Thomas Tuchel should join another major European club.

Thomas Tuchel will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the current financial year. It is now a certainty. The former PSG coach should not remain unemployed for too long, however. He should even immediately bounce onto the bench of another major continental team.

According to the daily Sport, the possibility that Tuchel will join FC Barcelona is “real”. He would replace Xavi, whose fate was sealed a few weeks ago. The two men have also experienced similar destinies within their respective clubs.

Tuchel could discover his fourth major championship

Tuchel has never hidden his attraction to La Liga. It would therefore make sense if he were to join the Nou Camp. If agreed, he would discover his fourth major European championship given that he has also coached in France and England. And he won titles everywhere he went.

Barça has already had German coaches at its head in the past. The latest was Udo Lattek between 1981 and 1983. Despite winning the Cup of Cups in 1982, the experience was complicated due to a conflict between the person concerned and star Diego Maradona.
