Turkey tastes success again in a Euro

Turkey tasted the joys of success in a Euro again, with a victory validated on Tuesday for its entry into the running against Georgia (3-1).

There was a spectacle this Tuesday at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund, during the first match of Group F of Euro 2024 between Turkey and Georgia. Unable to win a single match during its last participation in a Euro, Turkey this time made its debut by winning against the Georgians who had never qualified for the competition (3-1).

The Turkish opener was the work of Mert Muldur (1-0, 25th) before Kenan Yildiz had his goal disallowed for offside (27th).
