Farewell? We are coming up on the end of the year and that means things are going to be changing in the professional wrestling world. This includes new television and broadcasting deals being announced, with AEW being right along for the changes. While the company has announced a new deal, it seems that two of their shows are not going to be included. However, they might not be gone for good.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW’s new deal with Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD) will not include either Rampage or Battle Of The Belts. While the two shows will not be carried by WBD, AEW is free to shop them around to other platforms. There is no word on when Rampage will be done, but it is said that it “may not be around much longer”. This weekend’s Battle Of The Belts is expected to be the last at the moment.

They were good. Check out how the shows went while they were around:

Opinion: This is something that could work out rather well, as AEW has quite a bit of content and it could be better if things slow down a bit. If nothing else, it gives a bit more of a cushion between Dynamite and Collision, which could use the space. At the same time, it does not seem like AEW particularly cares about Battle Of The Belts, so why bother keeping them around and taking up more space?

What do you think of the change? How will it impact AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
