The 38th and final day of Serie A delivered its verdict this Sunday. While the first part of the table was clear, the fight to maintain proved tight until the end.

Maintained at the kick-off of this final act, Frosinone is the big loser of the evening, relegated to Serie B like Sassuolo and Salernitana.

At home, while one point was enough for the Lazio club to stay in the elite, Frosinone suffered the law of Udinese (0-1), thus finishing 18e in the standings, a small point behind Empoli.

At the same time, in fact, the latter club managed to secure its hold by dominating AS Rome (2-1), thanks to a goal from Mbaye Niang in added time.
