RC Lens made official this Friday the arrival of defender Malang Sarr and the departure on loan of striker Morgan Guilavogui.

The transfer window is finally moving forward for RC Lens. The Blood and Gold finally have their latest recruit since after the signing of goalkeeper Hervé Koffi, it is defender Malang Sarr who arrives for free from Chelsea.

“Versatile and with solid European experience, Malang is a player who started very young and whose career has been marked by challenges, explains Racing’s general manager, Pierre Dréossi. Despite the challenges, he never gave up and today joins Racing with the firm intention of performing. His personality is shaped by his resilience and his ability to overcome obstacles. His humility, his team spirit and his great strength of character are in perfect harmony with the values of Racing.

At the same time, Lens confirmed the departure on loan of striker Morgan Guilavogui, who joins FC Sankt Pauli, promoted to the Bundesliga. Arriving from Paris FC last summer, he scored only two goals in Ligue 1 last season.
