U-17 WWC: Chidi Elated To Score In Flamingos’ Big Win Over Ecuador

Harmony Chidi has expressed her delight after scoring for the first time at the ongoing 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

Chidi opened her goal account in Nigeria’s 4-0 victory over debutants Ecuador on Saturday night.

The young striker scored the Flamingos second goal with a powerful strike in the 54th minute.

The youngster was also named Player of the Match.

“I’m very happy. I don’t know how to express this. It’s joy for me right now because in the last game, when the goal didn’t come, my coach calmed me down,” she told FIFA.com.

“He believes in me so much that I can do it, even when it’s not coming, so I appreciate him for that and bless God for it.”
