Ubi Franklin shares his two cents on Davido, Sophia’s custody battle

A close associate of Afrobeat star Davido, Ubi Franklin shares his thoughts on the ongoing custody battle between the singer and Sophia Momodu over their daughter, Imade.

The custody dispute intensified after Sophia Momodu filed a counter affidavit following Davido’s initial joint custody request for their daughter a few weeks ago.

Sophia’s lawyer included allegations of negligence regarding Davido’s late son in the affidavit, prompting Davido to respond on X.

Ubi Franklin, who is also a father, expressed empathy for the parenting difficulties. He stated that he understands both parties’ challenges and calls for support rather than judgment.

“Never judge a pain you have never been through. This fatherhood struggle is not easy, we pray for God’s blessings and strength,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
