Florian Thauvin’s return to grace is confirmed. Already the author of 3 goals and an assist in 4 Serie A matches this season, the former Olympian, already the 3rd best scorer in Serie A, shone again against Parma this Monday evening. The 2018 world champion scored twice and allowed his team to turn the match around and win (3-2) on the Gialloblù pitch. “It’s incredible, we did a great job, a great reaction from the team in the second half. I’m very happy with the victory and I thank the whole team”said the man who was voted man of the match for the second time this season, after the match.
Wearing the number 10 and the captain’s armband this season in Udine, Florian Thauvin is enjoying a second youth at the dawn of his thirties. This rebirth is however not a surprise for the former Bastiais: “I imagined my start of the season like this, I worked every day to get back to my level. Now I’m here and I want to continue like this“, he explained. With less than a year to go before the end of his contract, Thauvin is likely to attract a lot of interest during the next transfer windows.
