The past few days have been a whirlwind of joy for Priscilla, the daughter of popular actress, Iyabo Ojo, as she prepares to marry her boyfriend, Tanzanian artiste, Juma Mkambala, aka Jux.
Recently, the artiste visited Nigeria to spend some time with the Ojo family. On his arrival, he was greeted with a warm welcome that included a mini celebration at the airport, where traditional dancers serenaded him with lively performances. Priscilla then presented him with flowers and some customised gifts.
The celebration continued as Iyabo hosted a heartfelt welcome for Jux at their home. Dressed in matching black attire, the couple was met with a beautiful gesture from Iyabo and some other people, who spread a piece of cloth on the floor—a sign of acceptance into their family.
In an enthusiastic Instagram post, Iyabo expressed her excitement about becoming a mother-in-law, stating, “The mother of the bride loading.”
Similarly, actress, Mercy Aigbe, joined in the celebration, felicitating the family on the cheerful news. She wrote, “Congratulations my love @its.priscy. Our in-law @juma_jux, we welcome you with open arms and love. We don’t joke with our daughter but we trust you. Friend of the mother of the bride loading.”
Meanwhile, during his stay in Nigeria, Jux joined Priscilla to embrace the Yoruba culture by donning matching traditional attire for a photo shoot. This was even as they attended some events together.
Days after, videos surfaced online showing Priscilla on a plane with Jux, bubbling with excitement about travelling to Tanzania, which she called “home”.
Upon her arrival, she received a similarly warm welcome from Jux’s family, who celebrated her with a vibrant dance performance and gifts, including a T-shirt and a portrait of the couple. There was also a team of paparazzi who shared in the excitement of the couple.
