Manchester United are among numerous clubs keeping tabs on Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz ahead of the summer window.
The 24-year-old has played a rotational role under Carlo Ancelotti this term, making 16 starts in all competitions and a further 17 appearances off the bench. He has notched nine goals and four assists in that time as Los Blancos have booked their spot in the Champions League quarter-finals while sitting atop La Liga with a healthy eight-point lead over Girona.
Formerly of Manchester City, Brahim has a Premier League title and League Cup to his name from the time he spent in England, despite making just 15 senior appearances in four years. He was then snapped up by Madrid for a fee of £15.5 million, won the La Liga in his maiden campaign and was subsequently loaned to AC Milan for three straight seasons.
The next window marks the first of United’s under INEOS guidance and influence, with fans anticipating wholesale changes across the squad to ensure the 20-time champions are primed to rival the likes of City, Liverpool and Arsenal next term.
Brahim uninterested in Bernabeu exit
As per a fresh report from HITC, United and Liverpool have ‘shown an interest’ in signing the now-Moroccan international.
“Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the 24-year-old former Manchester City player. However, HITC has been told that the Madrid star’s representatives have made it clear that he is not looking to leave Los Blancos this summer,” they add.
