Leeds United’s Jason Wilcox is being linked with a move to Manchester United.

According to The Athletic, the former Manchester City man who spent six years as the club’s academy director is now a target for the Red Devils as they continue the changes behind the scenes following the minority INEOS takeover.

Manchester United are also working on securing the services of Newcastle’s Dan Ashworth and appoint him as the club’s new sporting director. Wilcox will be expected to work alongside Ashworth as the club aims to surround him with the best people in this area of the game.

Wilcox is currently working as a sporting director at Southampton, who are competing with Wilcox’s former club Leeds United to earn a promotion back to the Premier League.

The former winger spent 4 years at Leeds, playing over 100 games for the Whites, scoring 6 and assisted 7.
