Manchester United have made their stance on Amad Diallo clear for the winter transfer window.
As per Mail Sport, the Red Devils have received a loan bid from Michael Carrick-managed Middlesbrough for the 21-year-old, which they plan to reject.
Amad has reportedly been impressing club staff in training and is in line to play a more prominent role in the second half of the campaign now that he’s fully fit; he made his first outing of the season in the 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest on December 30 as a knee injury had kept him sidelined since United’s pre-season tour.
Amad eyeing regular game time
The Ivorian faces competition on the right flank from the likes of Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Pellistri, however, the latter is set to leave on a loan of his own after La Liga outfit Granada opened talks with United on Tuesday. Pellistri has already given the ‘green light’ to the deal, meaning space could open up for Amad to feature significantly more.
