Manchester United’s scouts have reportedly been tracking the progress of Copenhagen starlet Roony Bardghji.
The Old Trafford faithful will be all too familiar with the 18-year-old’s talents after he provided a devastating Champions League dagger when the two sides met in a group-stage clash at Parken Stadium last November; United took an early 2-0 lead before a seven-goal thriller culminated in Bardghji scoring an 87th-minute winner in his off-the-bench cameo.
Copenhagen went on to progress to the last-16, while United finished fourth in Group A.
Bardghji could ignite summer bidding war
Alas, after getting over the initial heartache of the defeat, senior figures were seemingly left so impressed by Bardghji that they added him to a summer shortlist of potential targets.
The versatile Swede can play on both flanks as well as centrally. His prolific performances and potential have attracted interest not only from United but fellow Premier League rivals Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Brighton and Hove Albion, as per the Express.
