Bayern Munich have emerged as unlikely candidates in pursuit of one Manchester United wantaway ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.
Any potential move could see the Red Devils hold negotiations with Bayern for a third time this summer, having already completed a double swoop of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui – both of which featured in the opening two fixtures of the campaign.
Now, the Bayern board are rumoured to be mulling over a move for Jadon Sancho, with all signs currently pointing towards the exit for him in the coming days.
United have already held talks with Juventus regarding a potential loan-with-obligation transfer, while Chelsea are also considering a deal which would see them take the 24-year-old and experienced winger Raheem Sterling head the other way.
HITC claims that Sancho has been brought up in conversations at the Allianz Arena amidst the Bundesliga giants’ desire to offload Kingsley Coman.
United have four days to sanction Sancho’s exit
Borussia Dortmund retain an interest in bringing the Englishman back for a third time, although their financial situation means they’d be unable to meet United’s £40 million price tag, and a loan with an option is all but ruled out this time around.
Erik ten Hag has left Sancho out of his squad for the previous two matches. He travelled to the Amex with his teammates on Saturday but was omitted from the teamsheet.
