More Details Regarding The Georgia Medical Examiner’s Ruling
According to WSB-TV, the Clayton County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed that the death of Treveon Isaiah Taylor Jr has been ruled a homicide.
The medical examiner’s report discloses that the infant’s death was caused by a “fracture-dislocation” of his upper cervical spine and his spinal cord.
The outlet reports that the Southern Regional Medical Center, where the infant was delivered, has issued a statement.
“This unfortunate infant death occurred in utero prior to the delivery and decapitation,” the statement reportedly reads, per WSB-TV.
In addition, the medical Center continues to allege that the doctor who delivered the infant, Dr. Tracey St. Julian, “never has been” its employee.
According to the outlet, the Clayton County Police Department has completed its investigation. The case will now be turned over to the District Attorney’s office. However, it remains unclear whether charges will be filed.

A Brief Recap Of The Infant’s Passing & Subsequent Events
As The Shade Room previously reported, Jessica Ross and Treveon Isaiah Taylor Sr. arrived at the Southern Regional Medical Center for the birth of their son on July 9.
According to the Daily Mail, a lawsuit filed by the couple alleges that Ross went into labor around 8:40 p.m. During the vaginal delivery, the infant’s shoulders reportedly became “stuck.”
Dr. Tracey St. Julian allegedly delayed Ross having a C-section and also failed to request additional assistance. From there, she allegedly applied “excessive force” on the infant’s neck and head as she continued the vaginal delivery.
Hours later, the infant’s body and legs were delivered via C-section. However, its head was delivered vaginally.
When Ross demanded to hold her child, he was allegedly given to her with his head “propped on top of his body.” Additionally, medical officials allegedly concealed the infant’s injuries by wrapping his body in a blanket.
Jessica Ross and Treveon Isaiah Taylor Sr. alleged that they did not learn of their son’s injuries until they brought his body to a funeral home. Additionally, their lawsuit asserted that their son’s life could have been saved if a C-section had been opted for earlier in the delivery.
Daily Mail reports that the lawsuit filed against the center and medical officials seeks compensation for “mental and physical anguish.” Additionally, the couple is seeking an “unspecified” amount in “punitive damages,” along with a trial by jury, per CNN.
This is horrific and the details are graphic. 🚨

As The Shade Room previously reported, the parent’s anguish did not end with the delivery hospital and doctor. In September 2023, Ross and Taylor Sr. filed a lawsuit against pathologist Dr. Jackson Gates.
Gates was accused of posting graphic photos and videos from the infant’s autopsy online.
