The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio informed the WWE Universe this week on Monday Night RAW that he has been injured.
During WWE RAW this week, Dominik Mysterio informed Damian Priest that he was “banged up” and couldn’t compete in the tag match later in the night against Ricochet and Andrade. While many fans thought Mysterio was working, that was not the case.
In an update from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Mysterio’s injury occurred during his match with Andrade on the April 15 episode of RAW. The injury was described as a freak accident, and Mysterio will undergo Tommy John surgery as a result.
The plan is for Dominik to remain an on-screen character for The Judgment Day on WWE programming while he recovers from the injury. It typically takes nine months to fully recover from Tommy John surgery.
On behalf of everyone here at WrestleZone, we wish Dominik Mysterio a speedy recovery.
