WWE reportedly wants “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to be involved with WrestleMania weekend in some capacity.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that, per WWE sources, the company “made an overture” for “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to be involved over WrestleMania weekend. Per Johnson, there was no word on the specific role, but there were at least some discussions.
Johnson also writes that there has been talk that WWE has been working on having Hulk Hogan involved “in some fashion” at WrestleMania 40 weekend. It should be noted that Johnson did not specify whether Austin or Hogan would be involved at WrestleMania itself or another event over the weekend.
