A new report provides an update on WWE potentially holding WrestleMania in London.
John Cena previously sparked plenty of buzz by suggesting that Londin should host WrestleMania at WWE Money in the Bank 2023. The London government recently stirred up the excitement by announcing that Triple H and Nick Khan visited the city to discuss the possibility.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per WWE sources, nothing is set in stone, but the talks were productive. Sapp reiterated that nothing is on the books yet, and WWE is open to other possibilities.
In the report, Sapp writes that there were no plans to bring WrestleMania to London when Cena hyped up the possibility in 2023. That being said, Sapp states that the demand was said to be immediately evident after that show, so city officials may have been motivated to show their interest publicly.
WrestleMania 41 has been confirmed for 2025, and Indianapolis recently secured a date as well. Minneapolis had been in the running for 2025 before Las Vegas landed it. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has made it clear that they are interested.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
