It’s over. Former midfielder from the glorious era of Valencia CF and coach of the team since February 2023, Ruben Baraja has just been fired by the management of the Che club. “The dynamics of the results during this season required a decision that was very difficult to make, but which aims to turn the situation around and achieve better results”indicates the club in an official press release.

It must be said that Valencia, which has already flirted with relegation several times in recent seasons, is at the penultimate step in the La Liga standings and is in the midst of a sporting and institutional crisis. It now remains to be seen who will replace Baraja for a more than delicate maintenance mission.
