A new trend is emerging for French international Raphaël Varane.
After a difficult start to the season, Manchester French defender Raphaël Varane has returned to coach Erik Ten Hag's starting lineup at Manchester United.
The 2018 world champion has returned to his usual level of performance and has been fielded 28 times since the start of the season.
Varane's future on hold
However, his future at Old Trafford remains uncertain. His contract expires next June and no extension has yet been signed.
Fabrizio Romano, transfer window specialist, claims that Manchester United have not yet made a new contract offer to Varane.
“Manchester United have not currently sent any new contract proposals to the player and no negotiations have yet taken place. The current contract expires in three months,” he wrote on Twitter.
