If Didier Deschamps has retained Aurélien Tchouameni in his list of 25 players for the Euro, the presence of the Madrilenian remains very uncertain.

The bad news continues on the infirmary front for Didier Deschamps. If Mike Maignan should be operational for the Euro, the French goalkeeper having returned to the Milan squad this weekend for the match against Torino, there is concern for the two other injured Blues: Kingsley Coman and especially Aurélien Tchouameni.

Affected in an adductor in April and during the recovery phase, Kingsley Coman was injured again in training with Bayern Munich. According to Bild, the former Turin player suddenly fell to the ground after a series of dribbles and held his left knee while screaming in pain. His entourage nevertheless quickly wanted to be reassuring. “It’s just a blow,” he assured, indicating that the native of Paris could return to training this Tuesday.

Not 100% before the end of the group stage

The most worrying case is therefore undoubtedly that of Aurélien Tchouameni. While Carlo Ancelotti wanted to be reassuring last week, even believing in his return to the group for the final of the Champions League, the former Monegasque, victim of a stress fracture in his foot ten days ago, will not be not recovered in time to face Borussia Dortmund.

Worse, according to France Info, its presence at the Euro is most uncertain. His return to 100% could not occur before the end of the group stage. If for many, the return of N’Golo Kanté owes a lot to the situation of the Girondist by birth, Didier Deschamps also asked Jordan Veretout to be ready in the event of the Madrilenian’s withdrawal.
