Controversial Social media influencer Martin Otse also known VeryDarkMan has come under heavy criticisms for shading celebrities over the grand wedding of Afrobeats sensation, Davido.
It would be recalled that the media critic stirred controversy on Wednesday evening by targeting actresses Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing.
The influencer claimed that many Nigerian celebrities don’t have level as most of them sneaked into the party that held at Eko hotel.
In a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, June 26, VDM began by playing a clip of Iyabo discussing her plans to attend the wedding. She mentioned traffic for her late arrival, stating, “Na for inside this holdup we go do this wedding o. We go start am here, we go go meet after party, us na after party.”
The controversial media critic further claimed that the entertainers, Iyabo Ojo and influencer Ashmusy weren’t invited to the main wedding but the after-party.
He added that many skitmakers like Ashmusy and others were only invited to the After-party, and Nkechi Blessing almost got bounced at the venue.
VDM’s claims stirred counter reaction from Iyabo Ojo who took to her Instagram to refute the cliams by sharing an official invite from the wedding.
The actress’ boyfriend Paulo Okoye had defended his girlfriend, Iyabo, expressing pity over his condition as he believed someone swore for him.
VDM hit back, advising him to stay off his issue with Iyabo, and Paulo hit back, telling Davido and others to choose between them.
Reacting, Do2dtun slammed Nigerians for encouraging irrelevance and making it a basis for stratification.
He added that just because one has access doesn’t make them better than anyone else.
He wrote: “Nigerians and classism. We encourage so much irrelevances and make it a basis for stratification. We elevate a lollipop to a key to opening a money vault, but it’s just a Lollipop. Just cos you have access doesn’t make you better than anyone else…
my goodness, it’s not that deep.
“You can’t make some good things look awkward and sad. Access is power, but it’s not happiness. We need to start building memories together, not habits that set us away from our own goals and building good relationships”.
