EXCLUSIVE: After nearly a decade at Buchwald, veteran talent agent Ben Gorman has moved to Prototype Talent Agency.

Gorman began his career as an assistant at the now-defunct Abrams Artists Agency, followed by stints at Independent Artist Group (then known as APA) and The Gersh Agency, before spending several years at Pakula/King & Associates as an agent, prior to the move to Buchwald.

Clients joining Gorman at Prototype include Brandon Jay McLaren (Wayward, Snowfall), Tim Griffin (Voltron), Larry Joe Campbell (Animal Control, The Orville), model and actress Charlotte McKinney (Fantasy Island), Dan Leahy (Reboot) and CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase performer Jetta Juriansz. Others are expected to follow shortly. Gorman also represents well-known British motorsports journalist and presenter Will Buxton, who after 17 years with Formula 1, is now set to become the play-by-play commentator for Fox Sports’ coverage of the IndyCar Series this season.

“Ben has been in the industry for nearly two decades and brings a plethora of experience from his previous agencies which varied in size and scale,” says Brian Wittenstein, founder of Prototype, “He is a great veteran addition to the ranks over here at Prototype that we will lean on for insight and intel in the ever-changing landscape that is Hollywood.”

“I am really excited about this next chapter of my career and to align with what has begun here at Prototype,” added Gorman. It felt like the perfect fit for me to fully realize my goals and continue to evolve along with the industry”.

Prototype Talent Agency was founded in December 2022.
