Nickelodeon is gearing up for a Victorious reboot! If you forgot, the original series aired on Nickelodeon between 2010 and 2013 and starred the likes of Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice, Elizabeth Gillies and Daniella Monet. Ariana later took part in a spinoff series called Sam & Cat, which aired through 2014. On Thursday (February 6), we learned that a new reboot is in the works. Casting details, the show’s working title and a description were revealed. Keep reading to find out more… According to reporting by Deadline, the new show has a working title of Hollywood Arts and will center on Daniella‘s character Trina Vega. The outlet noted that the show will see Trina “returning to her old stomping grounds as the newest teacher at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school” – Hollywood Arts High School. Daniella will also act as an executive producer for the show. Casting is just getting underway, and it is not clear if other stars from the original series will return. However, the outlet confirmed that creator Dan Schneider will not be involved in the show. Dan was accused of inappropriate behavior, and Nickelodeon parted ways with him in 2018. The allegations were the subject of a docu-series called Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV in 2024. After the show was released, Dan sued the producers.
