Manchester United put three goals past Southampton on Saturday to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old came off the bench with fire in his belly, eager to prove a point to Erik ten Hag that he’s worthy of a starting position in the team. Everyone knows that but United now have healthy competition on the wingers.
Amad Diallo is fighting for minutes and his performances have been on a high standard as he proves to be a nuisance for full-backs. The Ivory Coast international registered an assist against Southampton, while Marcus Rashford and Garnacho both got on the scoresheet.
The opening goal came from Matthijs de Ligt and Rashford doubled United’s lead before the break.
However, it wasn’t until stoppage time that Garnacho found the back of the net, after coming off the bench.
Diogo Dalot latched on to a weighted Casemiro pass at the byline and cut the ball back for Garnacho to seal the win.
Yessssss! 🥶
