Bruno Fernandes was named Stretty News man of the match for his performance in the 2-1 FA Cup final win over Man City on Saturday. The highlight of his performance came in the form of a magical no-look assist for Kobbie Mainoo in the first-half.

The Reds went to Wembley as underdogs but ended up winning the FA Cup for the 13th time, after beating the Premier League champions thanks to goals from Alejandro Garacno and Kobbie Mainoo.

Club captain Bruno Fernandes was one of the star players on the day, playing in a false nine role from the start and positively impacting the game.

While Mainoo’s finish was sensational, Fernandes deserves a lot of credit for his first-time no-look pass to the youngster, leaving the City fans dumbfounded.

An alternative angle of the goal has been shared on X.
