Video: Amad restores United’s lead with a scintillating strike to mark his first-ever PL goal

Amad Diallo has notched his first-ever Premier League goal in scintillating fashion at Old Trafford, restoring Manchester United’s lead over Newcastle United in the process.

The 21-year-old has been United’s brightest spark on the pitch for the second successive game and now boasts an assist and a goal to his name heading into the final half-hour of the clash.

A Bruno Fernandes corner was cleared at the front post by the defending Magpies, yet fell to the feet of an unmarked Amad at the edge of the area, who dispatched an exceptionally powerful strike straight into the back of the net – an unstoppable one for Martin Dubravka.
