A beautiful strike from Bruno Fernandes against Leicester City opens up the game in Manchester United’s favour.
It took a world-class finish from Fernandes to give United the lead in his 250th appearance for the club.
Back amongst the goals since Ruud van Nistelrooy took charge as interim boss, Fernandes received a clever back-heeled pass from Amad Diallo before hitting the back of the net.
The Portuguese Magnifico has scored 4 goals in as many games under Van Nistelrooy.
However, Amad did superbly in the lead-up to the goal as he first won the high ball that sent United on an attack in Leicester City’s half. The back heel to Fernandes was the icing on the cake, only bettered by the finish from distance.

The Ivorian has been fantastic so far and has caused Leicester City enough problems that they’re trying to kick him at every opportunity.
Thankfully, for us, he keeps getting back up.
Manchester United must build on lead after Bruno Fernandes opener

Leicester City also have a knack for scoring late goals this season.
With that in mind, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to build on our advantage over Leicester City.
That is why United should keep the tempo high for the rest of the half, try to score another goal or two, and make the second half easier on all of us.
