Manchester United’s night in Porto gets worse after the Reds were reduced to 10 men.
Bruno Fernandes was sent off for a second bookable offence when he attempted to win the ball inside the box with a high boot.
Although Fernandes did not make contact with the players’ face, despite some play-acting, the United captain was dismissed and sent for an early shower.

United are currently trailing 3-2 after throwing a two-goal lead away and they’re heading towards a run of four games without a win.
The red card seems hard because Fernandes didn’t make any contact with the Porto player in question.
Fernandes looked disappointed with Diogo Costa’s reaction which was an attempt to get him sent off.
