Casemiro has secured Manchester United’s place in the FA Cup quarter-finals with a late winner against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Bruno Fernandes whipped his free-kick towards the near post as the ball took a little touch from Casemiro’s head and through the goalkeeper’s legs.

There was a VAR check after the goal for offside, but thankfully the goal stood and United look set to book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

The officials took two minutes to study at the starting positions of Raphael Varane and Casemiro, although both players were correctly deemed onside.
