Good news for Christopher Nkunku. Coming into play against Brighton this Wednesday evening, the French attacking midfielder scored on a nice serve from Malo Gusto. A goal which will do him a lot of good since he had returned to the field for 10 days with appearances against West Ham and Nottingham Forest but had not previously played for three months following a hamstring injury.

His last goal dates back to January 31 against Liverpool. The 26-year-old is having a complicated first season at Chelsea. Undermined by injuries, he has only 13 appearances for now 3 goals with the London team. A good omen before Didier Deschamps’ list for Euro 2024 which will be published tomorrow?
